Project Goals
After 5 years in business, the founders felt like Remote ID was stalled. They didn’t believe in their branding anymore. The main problem was their visual identity looked generic, lacked personality, and didn’t match the emotional depth of their vision for the future. They knew their community deserved a proper visual home.
The Vision:
Take inspiration from organic, vintage park graphics and move away from travel or tech visuals that could age quickly.
Create hand-drawn illustrations and imperfect typography to establish a warm, cozy vibe that stands out from the typical corporate-leaning digital communities.
Combine work (mouse cursor) and life (sun, water, land) visuals to capture the heart of remote work: real people striving for personal freedom from anywhere in the world.
“Steph is an absolute legend and crazy talented! She took my insane idea brain dump and turned it into the most amazing branding package I could have asked for. I went back to her to complete a few additional designs because I loved her work so much. I cannot recommend her enough. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do the branding for me.”

The Result
Founders Chelsea and Erin gained the clarity and confidence to move their vision forward, pivot their services, and better support their members.
Current community members were very pleased with the identity, and many new creative freelancers joined since.
The new look feels true to the Remote ID mission, successfully standing out in their industry as the down-to-earth, human-first nomads.
